Raima pulled off a cool, half black-half navy eye makeup look. To get the look:
Eyes: Apply a shimmery white shadow such as MAC Shadow in Rite of Spring to the lids. Draw a thick line with black liner such as MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Engraved on the top lash lines. Draw a thick line with navy liner such as MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Prussian to the bottom lash lines. Use a shadow smudger to smudge corners of the lines together. Finish with black mascara.
Cheeks: Apply a shimmery rose blush to the cheekbones such as NARS Blush in Mata Hari. Highlight cheekbones with NARS Highlighting Powder Blush in Albatross.
Lips: Apply a dark rose gloss such as NARS Lip Gloss in Dolce Vita.
Anupama wore a toned down makeup look with smokey brown eyes and nude lips. To get the look:
Eyes: Apply a shimmery light wood brown color such as Guerlain Tajine Metal Shadow in Blonde Metal all over the lid. Apply a darker coffee brown color such as Guerlain Tajine Metal Shadow in Brunette Metal to the outer corner of the lid, the bottom lashline and the crease. Line only the upper and lower waterline of the eyes with a black eye pencil such as MAC Eye Pencil in Ebony.
Cheeks: Apply a deep berry shimmer blush such as NARS Blush in Sin to the cheeks.
Lips: Apply a pinkish nude lipstick such as NARS Lipstick in Napoli. Blend the edges of the lipstick into the lips.
Eyes: Apply a shimmery white shadow (if fair skinned) such as Shiseido Hydro-power Shadow in Whitelights or champagne shadow (if tan or dark skinned) such as MAC Eye Shadow in Retrospeck all over the lid to the brow bone. Apply a rose gold shadow such as Shu Uemura Pressed Eye Shadow in IR Pink 100 in the crease. For Dia's feline eye shape, use black liquid liner (my favorite is Shu Uemura Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black) close to the lashes and flick up the line slightly at the outer corner. To soften the look, apply a dark brown liner (not black) such as MAC Eye Pencil in Coffee to the bottom lashes from inner corner to outer corner.
Cheeks: Apply a rose pink cream blush such as NARS Multiple in Riviera (for fairer skin tones) or Antibes (for tan to darker skin tones) to the apples of the cheeks. The cream texture will help achieve the glowy look Dia has. Top the cheekbones with a little highlighting poweder such as NARS Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross.
Lips: Apply a petal pink lip gloss such as NARS Lip Gloss in Sweet Dreams or Tempest.
Body: Dia's skin shimmers from a sparkly body spray such as Tarte Celebutante Dry Oil Shimmer Spray. Just be careful not to go overboard with it!
Eyes: Apply a lilac colored eye shadow such as MAC Eye Shadow in Crystal all over the eyelid. Apply a silver gray shadow such as MAC Eye Shadow in Silver Ring in the crease. Apply the same silver gray shadow to upper and lower lashlines by wetting a brush and dipping in the shadow for a softer look. Finish with black mascara.
Cheeks: Apply a bronzer such as NARS Bronzer in Laguna in the contours of the cheek and a pink blush such as MAC Blush in Fleur Power on the apples of the cheek.
Lips: Apply a creamy plummy pink lipstick such as MAC Lipstick in Sequin.
Kareena switched up her usual makeup for a deep bronze, I-just-vacationed-in-Miami- look. She could have toned down the bronzer a bit as it verges on the orange, but the look works as she focuses on shimmery skin and keeps her eyes and lips muted. To get the look:
Eyes: Apply a glistening, gold cream shadow such as Laura Mercier Eye Colour Pot in Solid Gold all over the lid. Line the upper and lower lashlines with a dark brown eye pencil such as MAC Eye Pencil in Coffee. Finish with black mascara.
Cheeks: Sweep a shimmery bronzer such as Guerlain Terracotta Africa Rhythm Pearly Sun Powder over cheekbones. Sweep a matte bronzer such as Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer up onto temples and down over the jawline. (Note: Avoid using the shimmery bronzer all over the face to avoid looking like a disco ball!) Apply a highlighting cream in a champagne color such as NARS Multiple in Copacabana to add dimension to the facial features.
Lips: Apply a shimmery bronze lip gloss such as Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bronze.
Eyes: Apply a shimmery copper shadow such as MAC Eye Shadow in Mythology all over lids. Line eyes with a black liner such as MAC Powerpoint Pencil in Engraved. Take a felt eye smudger and softly blur the liner into the shadow.
Cheeks: Apply a coral-toned bronzer such Laura Mercier Coral Bronzer Bronzing Duo (mix the two together) as to the cheeks.
Lips: Apply a deep coral lip gloss such as Christian Dior Ultra Gloss Reflect Coral Lame 337.
Deepika went for a mod, edgy look with black, white and pink eyes and chalky pink lips...I'm personally not loving the lips as it verges on becoming Gauri Khan's Proenza Pink Lip Nightmare, but kudos to the model/actress for taking risks. To get the look:
Eyes: Apply a very light pink shadow such as MAC Eye Shadow in Pink Freeze on the lids. Use a chubby black eye pencil such as Benefit Bad Gal Eye Pencil to line the entire eye from corner to corner. Apply a very thick, sooty black mascara such as Christian Dior Dior Show Mascara in Blackout. Create strong eyebrows by filling in sparse brows with a cream/powder brow kit such as Benefit Brow Zing in 03 Dark.

Cheeks: Apply a warm pink blush such as MAC Powder Blush in Dollymix to balance out the pale pinks on the eyes and lips.
Lips: Try not to go too pale with the lips. Try MAC Lipstick in Angel (for fairer skin tones) or Lovelorn (for more tan tones).
Love Dia's makeup, she looks flawless, but perhaps a tad sweaty, neck down?
ReplyDeleteRanjani, that's what I thought when I first saw the photos as well! Upon closer inspection though, I think her makeup artist slathered her with a tad too much sparkly body oil/lotion...hence my warning about not using too much of this product!
ReplyDeleteYeah it almost looks like an orange glowy spray tan!
ReplyDeleteBig disconnect b/w the body and face!

Oh I love Raima's look! I'll have to try the black and navy eyeliner look, although my eyes are nowhere near as big and pretty as hers :(
