Fall 2008 Beauty Preview, Part II

Over the weekend, an array of beautiful makeup looks hit the New York runways. The most interesting thing about these looks is that many of them are not traditional fall looks featuring the dark smokey eyes or dark matte red or burgundy lips. In fact, many of these looks could easily translate to spring!

At the Y-3 show, above, models sported wind-burned cheeks in an orangey shade with minimal eyes.

At Tuleh, above and below, eyes were smoked out in shades of champagne, gold and bronze. The softly waved hair looks so healthy.

Very pretty dark rose lips, strong pink cheeks and smokey eyes featured at Tracy Reese, above and below.

Preen's makeup look definitely reminded of spring, although the look went well with the white and light silver clothing. Taupe shadow was blended around the eyes with a bright carnation pink on the lips and cheeks.

Miss Sixty featured smoky eyes and a natural, though not nude, lip. Nothing new, although the models still looked great.

Smokey eyes again at Diane Von Furstenburg, but paired with a strong rose lip. The hair, in bouncy waves, is so pretty. And speaking of pretty, how beautiful is the model below?!

Finally, at Angel Sanchez, eyes and lips were both muted with contoured cheekbones as the standout feature. Hair was pulled back into a messy bun to show off the models' bone structure.
